The House Where You Live Forever

The first exhibition of our new Brazilian curator Marina Coelho, The House Where You Live Forever, opened on Friday 1 February 2019. The international artists in the group exhibition scrutinise the obsession with the perfect body in current society. Heide Hinrichs, Robin Kolleman, Julia Dahee Hong were present and Sophie Dupont performed her performance We Always Carry Our Body.

This will be a special Museumnacht010 edition of Brandstof.

Our permanent Natafelen-chef Laurence van Bergeijk invites chef Marnix Benschop to prepare the diner for this special vegan edition. Marnix Benschop was born on Terschelling. He was an intern in the famous Noma restaurant in Copenhagen. Afterwards he worked as a sous-chef in several Michelin-star restaurants, including the renowned Ivy. He was responsible for the kitchens of The Suicide Club, Biergarten and recently Marnix took on the challenge of cooking all-vegan at our neighbours, the brand new restaurant Dumbo. On April 12th he cooks at Garage Rotterdam. Sommelier Joost Meenks selects matching wines.
