In 2022 Garage Rotterdam celebrates its tenth anniversary during the Garage Rotterdam Festival from Tuesday September 27 until Saturday October 1st.
At Wednesday the 28th of September, Garage Rotterdam organizes a dance workshop for children (and their parents). In collaboration with dancer Rochella Prinsen.

Garage Rotterdam Festival
In 2012 Garage Rotterdam opened its doors. This year the exhibition space for contemporary art celebrates its tenth anniversary. The past ten years, Garage Rotterdam has contributed to the Dutch art scene with 40 exhibitions by 15 curators and more than 200 different artists.
Wednesday the 28th of September until Saturday the 1st of October, Garage Rotterdam celebrates her tenth anniversary during the Garage Rotterdam Festival. The exhibition space organizes a wide range of festive activities within the theme of upcoming talent. Within five days, Garage Rotterdam looks back upon her rich history and will present her promising future plans.

Garage Café 2.1
After two years, Garage Café makes her reentrance at Garage Rotterdam. A pitch-event for young makers. The first edition will take place during Garage Rotterdam Festival. In collaboration with Sue van Geijn, Nicole Sciarone and the Willem de Kooning academy.
Speakers: Tijs van Bakel, Daan Timmer, Lu Lin, Lorena Rode, Qiaochu Guo, Anna Spiliotopoulou.

Brandstof | Stories, Music & Spoken Word
An evening with Anastasis Sarakatsanos and Margo van de Linde.
In this event, musician, composer, and storyteller Anastasis Sarakatsanos will be playing music and telling stories about people who live on the border lines, about their cultures, languages, and forbidden songs. Closing the night, theatre director, improviser, and performance coach Margo van de Linde will improvise a spoken word piece on live music.

Natafelen: dinner surrounded by art
The anniversary edition of Natafelen on the 30th of September is fully booked.
One night per exhibition, Garage Rotterdam transforms into a unique restaurant. Enjoy a vegetarian dinner by Rotterdam chef Laurence van Bergeijk accompanied by a wine arrangement of the Gouden Ton.

Tenth anniversary | Announcement finalists Garage Rotterdam Prize for young curators
In 2022 Garage Rotterdam celebrates its tenth anniversary. From Wednesday September 28 until Saturday October 1st, we celebrate our anniversary with a wide range of festive activities during Garage Rotterdam Festival.
On Saturday the 1st of October, we close off Garage Rotterdam Festival with a party. During the evening House of GHOD will organize a performance and the nominees of the Garage Rotterdam Prize for young curators will be announced.

Curating in the 21st Century: Some Insider Insights
From Wednesday the 28th of September until Saturday the 1st of October, Garage Rotterdam celebrates its tenth anniversary during the Garage Rotterdam Festival. Within five days, we organize a wide range of festive activities within the theme of upcoming talent.
On Saturday the 1st of October, Garage Rotterdam invites curators to explain their practice to curators and artists at the start of their career. Moderator Pádraic E. Moore will host a conversation with Youri Appelo, Bas Hendrikx, Yasmijn Jarram and Fadwa Naamna about the ins- and outs of curating.
