KEN KEN & GUD GUD | Circular Material Lab (2025)
KEN KEN & GUD GUD Circular Material Lab is an open space and studio, dedicated to upcycling and recycling practises, transforming waste materials into functional objects for everyday use.
This project by Mg Pringgotono follows the “Collect, Brainstorm and Execute” principle:
- Collect – Gathering and sorting available materials
- Brainstorm – Exploring the properties and characteristics of materials through discussions and experiments
- Execute – Realizing ideas using the tools available in the space
Inspired by two imaginary characters – one who always sees possibilities in every challenge and the other who appreciates every achievement, no matter how small – KEN KEN & GUD GUD encourages boundless exploration and creativity.
This project showcases circular material practises from Operasi, Plastik, Stuffo, 8o5nl and Sell on Bike Book. The project runs during the entire period of Underdeveloped #2 and invites you to use the space to experiment and create.
Come and create at Garage Rotterdam from Wednesday to Sunday from 12.30 to 5.30 PM until 4 May 2025!
