In this neon installation, Susanne Khalil Yusef weaves the fishnet motif of the keffiyeh — a symbol of Palestinian identity — into a powerful message. The glowing “net” functions like a fence: bordering and protective at the same time, it captures the collective memory of displacement. By combining colour and fragility with political meaning, Yusef shows how significant patterns connect the personal with the communal.
