Window #1 (2026)

This small, hexagonal work depicts bare tree branches against a golden-yellow sky, like a still fragment of an ever-recurring sunset. The shape is reminiscent of a window: an opening to the outside world, but at the same time a frame that determines how that world is seen. Just as in Bandeh’s larger works, time, memory, and longing come together here in an everyday image.
