The Seven Ages of Britain Teaser Face (2010)

The prototype of this sculpture can be seen in Nathaniel Mellors’ movie The Seven Ages of Britain Teaser (2010). The naturalistic appearance of this selfgenerating object plays with the so-called Uncanny Valley Theory: the more human an android appears to be, the more it evokes a response of fear, horror and revulsion.
