Mural with Friends & We Want To Live (2024)

Susanne Khalil Yusef’s mural about Gaza (2025) is presented together with her neon work We Want To Live (2024). Khalil Yusef created this mural together with three friends with Palestinian heritage: Faten, Mohamed, and Tamer. Sprayed across the wall, you can see texts such as Stop the Killing and I Love Gaza. These expressive, street-like slogans convey an urgent political message about displacement, resistance and human survival. The neon work features the Arabic handwriting of a close friend in Gaza. It is both a personal and a universal cry of the heart: We want to live.
