An unfolded carton box full of paint drops, scraps, instructions and pieces of tape – that’s what this work seems to be initially. However, closer inspection shows that everything about this work is painted. By applying this trompe l’oeil effect, Jochen Mühlenbrink plays a visual game with onlookers.
