Pris Roos

Pris Roos (she/her, 1984) is a multidisciplinary artist, researcher, and storyteller. Her practice moves between painting, spoken word, video, performance and installations. In her works, Roos explores themes such as identity — including her own lived experience as a queer woman with a bicultural background — migration, (chosen) family and memory. The artist weaves personal stories with those of others, giving a voice to people who navigate between different cultures and identities, just like her. In this way, her practice forms a bridge between personal histories and a shared collective memory.
