Jennifer Tee
Jennifer Tee (1973, Arnhem) creates works that can be seen as material representations of the soul’s journey. Drawing on an exploration of the relationship between spirit and matter, she seeks to give form to the intangible through experimentation with materials and performative gestures.
Tee works with a variety of techniques and materials, including collages of dried tulip petals and textile sculptures. Her work responds to experiences of cultural hybridity, identity, and language, as well as to trade routes involving people, goods, and natural objects.
