Faizi 

Faizi is an artist, teacher, magician, and a dedicated father – also describing himself as a father who takes playing seriously – who uses play as a powerful tool for identity understanding and connection. Through his work, Faizi demonstrates how play helps people of all ages to better understand themselves and others.

The artist works with a wide range of age groups; he teaches young adults, guides parents through workshops on play and parenting, and performs as a storytelling father for the youngest children. In his interactive storytelling shows, Faizi combines magic and storytelling to invite children to wonder and actively participate in the narrative. Additionally, he has written his own children’s book, ‘Ik ben Boos! Verdrietig…’ (translation: I am Angry! Sad…), in which he takes readers on a journey through a child’s emotions and inner world. His book provides parents with insights on how to handle their child’s anger in a positive way, without immediately resorting to punishment or grounding.
