Emmelime de Mooij

Emmeline de Mooij lives and works in Amsterdam. Her work consists of a mixture of performance, textile, and installations and addresses themes of care, maintenance, and repair. She graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and the MFA program at Bard College in New York State.


Her work was presented in various institutions, including the Centraal Museum in Utrecht, Museum Kranenburgh in Bergen, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, and Art Cologne. De Mooij is a co-founder of the collective ‘Feministische Handwerk Partij’ (Feminist Needlework Party), a political feminist artist-driven movement.
