Kasih Graphic (Angga Cipta and Chad Cordeiro)
Kasi Graphic is a collaborative printmaking practice developed by Angga Cipta (Jakarta) and Chad Cordeiro (Johannesburg), as a response to their shared interest and overlapping practices focused on printmaking, arts pedagogy and archiving.
For Underdeveloped, Kasi Graphic created the Print Bike – a mobile, modular printmaking workshop for silkscreen, relief and intaglio print production. The bike was built to be used for informal workshops and education programs, such as poster printing for protests. The Print Bike draws its inspiration from Medu Art Ensemble’s Silkscreen workshop in a suitcase, as well as from Starling coffee bicycles in Indonesia.
