‘Shaka Napoleon’ (2011)

This work is taken from a series of drawings about the battle of Austerlitz in 1805. Andrew Gilbert combines two great military leaders, Shaka Zulu and Napoleon Bonaparte, to create his friend and ally Shaka Napoleon, with whom the artist will destroy the tribes of Europe.
